Transforming natural wealth into sustainable progress
With a name and messaging in hand, we applied the “brand personality” factors uncovered in the research phases as guidance in developing a logo for the new brand. We worked closely with the client through several iterations to come up with a final logo that tells a multi-layered story about the KTC brand.
By using the principles of the Swiss Style we focus on content rather than decorative extras. We eliminate distractions for the viewer and allow the information-heavy design to be read and studied rather than merely seen and admired. Because of this, we created lettering to represent Swiss Style that really hone in on one of the key principles of the movement.
The TradingView logo is at the centre of the new brand identity and features abstract shapes (in blocks) based on the letters ’K’ ’T’and ‘C‘, suggests the breadth, technology and knowledge along with the diggings. Hints at the power of the mining model, in which value flows back and forth, to the benefit of mines and investors. The use of colours white, yellow, orange and black color pallet represents strength, energy, hardiness and confidence.speaks to the breadth of their portfolio.
